  • A heated steering wheel.
  • A 14-speaker Bose audio system.
  • Up to 122.9 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded.

You can choose from Very Dark Ash Gray, Light Shale, or Jet Black leather seats. The Denali has a variety of advanced technologies. You can reconfigure or customize the 10.2-inch infotainment screen, and Super Cruise hands-free driver assistance is available.

The Timeless Chevrolet Tahoe

The Chevrolet Tahoe is a popular SUV trusted by many for daily commuting, family trips, off-road travel, and more. It has a reputation for reliability and versatility and can tow up to 8,400 pounds when fully equipped. The Tahoe has six trim levels: the LS, LT, RST, Z71, Premier, and High Country. The interior has a retro look that adds to its charm. You can easily control this vehicle’s many features with voice activation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. You can add Super Cruise driver-assistance technology with the Premier or the High Country.

Dual 12.6-inch touch screens mounted in the rear seats and a Wi-Fi hotspot are also available. These features are ideal for entertaining kids on long trips. You can also select power-folding mirrors with driver-side auto-dimming and integrated turn-signal indicators.

Performance Showdown

Both vehicles are powerful, fun to drive, and maneuverable. The 2023 Yukon Denali has a 6.2-liter V-8 engine with 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. You can also choose a 3.0-liter Duramax Turbo-Diesel V-8 that provides 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Both engines use a 10-speed automatic transmission with overdrive capabilities.

You can add an adaptive suspension that can raise ground clearance to 2 inches and provide a smooth, comfortable ride. A Tow/Haul driving mode is standard, and four-wheel-drive Denali models also have Off-Road and Sport modes. The optional Active Response four-wheel-drive system directs more torque to the wheels that need it most for better traction.

The Chevrolet Tahoe has a 5.3-liter V-8 that generates 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque. You can also choose the same Duramax Turbo-Diesel or 6.2-liter V-8 engines available with the Denali. The Tahoe’s 10-speed automatic transmission is similar to the Denali’s as well. This SUV provides an exciting drive, especially the RST Performance Edition, which has performance exhaust, Brembo brakes with red brake calipers, a performance-calibrated steering wheel, and a lower ride height.

Interior Comfort and Amenities

The Yukon Denali offers premium materials, cutting-edge infotainment, and lavish amenities, while the Chevrolet Tahoe focuses more on connectivity, spaciousness, and family-oriented features. With the 2024 Denali, you’ll get a power-sliding center console that can move back up to 10 inches and provide more space for personal items. Other standard Denali features include:

  • Up to six USB ports.
  • A 12-inch driver information center.
  • A 15-inch head-up display.
  • Two 110-volt power outlets.
  • A 12-volt outlet.
  • Three-zone automatic climate control.
  • Keyless entry.
  • Remote start.
  • SiriusXM satellite radio.
  • An auto-dimming rearview mirror.
  • 10-way power front seats with memory settings.

You can add a panoramic sunroof with a power sunshade and wireless charging.

The Chevrolet Tahoe has Google Assistant with voice recognition to help you make calls, use the navigation system, and take care of other tasks. You’ll also get an 8-inch infotainment system and cruise control.

With the LT and higher trim levels, 10-way power front seats are standard. Other options include a 12-inch driver information center, 12-way front seats, a lockable compartment in the center console, a 10.2-inch touch screen, and a 15-inch head-up display similar to the one that comes with the Denali. An auto-dimming rearview mirror and power-folding rear seats are available as well.

Towing and Cargo Capacity

These SUVs have excellent towing capacities and plenty of storage space. A retractable cargo shade and a collapsible cargo container are optional with the Denali. The GMC Yukon Denali can tow up to 8,200 pounds.

The optional Max Trailering Package increases towing capacity by 200 pounds, equaling a total of 8,400 lbs of towing capabilities. It includes an engine cooling system with extra capacity. You can also choose trailer hitch guidance with a hitch view, a trailer brake controller, and a trailer side blind-zone alert.

With the Tahoe, a cargo management system with multiple dividers helps you stay organized and accommodate different cargo needs. You can choose a collapsible cargo container and an advanced trailering system with four cameras. The 6.2-liter engine can tow up to 7,800 pounds, and the 5.3-liter V-8 pulls up to 7,900 pounds. With the turbo diesel engine, you can tow up to 8,200 pounds. Four-wheel drive decreases capacity by 200 pounds with all three engines, and the same Max Trailering Package that’s optional with the Denali is available.

Safety and Technology Features

Both SUVs have advanced driver assistance systems and safety technologies. They come with:

  • Forward collision warning.
  • Automatic emergency braking.
  • Front and rear parking assistance that warns you about nearby obstacles.
  • .Pedestrian detection.
  • A 360-degree camera system.

The Denali offers optional automatic parking assistance. It can search for the best parking spot and steer your vehicle into a parallel or perpendicular space. Both SUVs have user-friendly infotainment systems and connectivity options.
