In this post, we’ll present you with five entertaining family events this Spring. From Easter egg hunts to parent’s night out, there’s something for everyone to enjoy in Fort Worth.

Aqua Egg Hunt

Take Easter egg hunting to the next level at the annual Aqua Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 1. Located at the Frisco Athletic Center (FAC), this yearly tradition involves splashing in the water and collecting floating eggs in the indoor pool. There are only 30 egg hunters per session, which makes it a fun and easygoing experience. In addition to the hunt, kids will also receive a souvenir bag and a photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Children aged 2-10 are welcome to come and engage in the Easter celebration.

The egg hunt will begin at 9 a.m., with tickets available to buy for each 20-minute session. To ensure that the kids have fun, the FAC will provide them with a mesh bag that they can use to collect their eggs. In addition, children under 8 must wear a life jacket. Disney On Ice

Disney On Ice presents Encanto and Frozen will bring the excitement of these two popular movies to the Dickies Arena in April. With world-class ice skating and aerial stunts, the show will have fans dancing and singing along to their favorite songs. Hosted by Mickey and Minnie, this show will transport you and your family to the magical world of Walt Disney.

Join the quest to find Elsa and put an end to the eternal winter. You can dream and sing about summer with Olaf and Sven. Encanto will celebrate the love of family as you dance along with sisters Mirabel, Isabela, and Luisa. Tickets are already on sale, so make sure to buy them as soon as possible so you can snag a good seat.

For a more personalized experience, you and your little ones can attend Family Fun Featuring Elsa and Mirabel. During the pre-show, kids aged 2 and up can join Mirabel and Elsa for interactive activities, crafts, and photos. All guests must have a Disney On Ice show ticket and a Character Experience ticket.

Sensory Explorations: Flowers

Head on over to the Amon Carter Museum of American Art for Sensory Explorations: Flowers. Through various interactive activities, you and your kids can explore the various themes of flowers throughout the gallery. Hands-on art, guided tours, and playful performances will thoroughly engage and entertain your kids.

This program’s designed for families with children on the autism spectrum, but all are welcome to come and experience the fun. The event offers a variety of activities and experiences, such as tours and hands-on art-making sessions. The event will take place at 10 a.m. on April 22. Admission is free, but registration is still required.

Parent’s Night Out

Sometimes parents need to have fun too. Once a month, the Fort Worth Zoo hosts Parent’s Night Out. You can enjoy a night off to go out to eat, watch a movie, or hang out on the couch while treating your children to a night at the zoo. A brand new thematic group exhibition has come to The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. I’ll Be Your Mirror: Art and the Digital Screen will explore the screen’s profound influence on the arts over the decades. Bring the whole family along for an eye-opening experience.

The exhibition features over 60 works from more than 50 artists. These pieces explore how screens have impacted various aspects of society through a wide range of media, including video games, paintings, and sculptures. Screen culture has affected almost every aspect of our lives, and this exhibit beautifully explains how.

The rise of digital platforms has created a 24/7 news cycle and a new era of cultural awareness. This exhibition traces the evolution of these technologies from 1969, when the Apollo moon landing and the U.S.’s Advanced Research Projects Agency Network was first unveiled, to today’s modern culture. The exhibition’s nine key themes are connectivity, surveillance, digital abstraction, posthuman body, ecology, and the loneliness epidemic.
